  Welcome to the Private Equity CFO Association®
  Created in October of 2001 by the Private Equity Banking Group at Citizens Financial Group, The Private Equity CFO Association is an organization of over 1509 senior level professionals of private equity firms. The group is intended for individuals who manage the financial and operational aspects and oversee the reporting, accounting and fund administration of private equity funds, venture capital funds, funds of funds, and secondary funds.

Our mission is to provide a forum for networking and communication with peer professionals. The Association's email platform and membership meetings enable private equity and venture capital CFOs to share experience and expertise useful in addressing the administrative, accounting and tax issues they commonly face.

Citizens Financial Group is the sole corporate sponsor of the group and hosts many general membership meetings a year in Boston, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Dallas/Ft Worth, Houston and Northern California as well as other events.

In addition to regularly scheduled meetings, the Private Equity CFO Association has an e-mail network that includes all members of the organization and its Advisory Boards. Members may post questions to the entire group and receive responses - all of which are archived and available for future reference. Additionally, there is a Job Posting page with CFO, COO and other private equity positions and opportunities throughout the U.S.

In an effort to address relevant and timely topics effectively, membership is only open to the senior level financial and/or operational professional of private equity, venture capital and fund of funds firms investing in many strategies, including buyout, early stage, credit, infrastructure and secondaries. The group is not intended for vendors, investment management firms, investment banking firms or hedge funds.
